We provide comprehensive water-based fire protection systems ranging from pre-action sprinkler systems to pump-skid water mist systems to ensure we can meet nearly any challenge. Our solutions deliver precise, code-compliant suppression across a wide range of industrial and mission-critical environments.

Products

Fike DuraQuench Pro

Water Mist System

Fike’s DuraQuench pumped water mist system brings the benefits of water mist fire suppression within reach of most budgets and over the widest possible range of applications.

The heart of Fike DuraQuench Pro is a skid-mounted pump, electric motor and pump controller that can be directly connected to a building’s water supply or to a tank or reservoir and provide unlimited discharge.

Fike DuraQuench FM-Approved Applications

  • Data Centers
  • Turbines (Steam and Diesel)
  • Machinery Enclosures
  • Light Hazard

Fike MicroMist

Water Mist System

Fike MicroMist is a self-contained, single-fluid, pre-engineered water mist fire suppression system and comes pre-assembled, tested and packaged with all necessary valves and actuation components for system operation, making it a perfect solution especially for applications without an available water source.

The Fike MicroMist® fire suppression system produces a fine mist to extinguish fires quickly, with very little residual water. That translates into less run-off, no damage and easy clean-up.

The Fike MicroMist fire protection system employs single fluid, intermediate pressure – which reduces installation and maintenance costs associated with redundant and high-pressure piping networks and fittings.

Fike Fire Monitors

Water Cannons

Fike Fire Monitors offer pinpoint accuracy extinguishment, ideal for difficult-to-reach fires originating from piles of waste, wood chips, tires, scrap metals and countless other environments.

They are frequently combined with Fike flame detectors to create the ultimate early warning, water- or foam-based fire suppression solution.

Fike Fire Monitors are ideal for numerous applications because of their ability to offer both automatic and manual control settings and either 180 or 360 degree coverage area for fires up to 87 yards away.

Pre-Action Sprinkler Systems

Water Mist System

Local fire codes often require that sprinklers are installed in critical spaces. When water leaks are a concern, pre-action sprinklers offer a great alternative to regular water sprinklers.

Unlike regular sprinklers, pre-action sprinklers use an automatically controlled valve to keep water out of critical spaces. Only supervisory compressed air is inside the sprinkler pipe during normal operation. In the event of a leak in the piping network, compressed air (not water) escapes the pipe. The loss of compressed air will lower the air pressure in the pipe, causing a control panel to alarm the trouble condition.

Advantage of Pre-Action Sprinklers

  • Water does not flow if the sprinkler pipe breaks
  • Water does not flow if a sprinkler head is damaged
  • Water damage to valuable assets is less likely to occur due to accidents or natural disasters

Pre-action sprinklers are often used in conjunction with water mist or clean agent fire suppression systems. These fast-acting systems act as the first line of defense protecting people, assets and business continuity, while pre-action sprinklers meet minimum local fire code requirements and are the second line of defense protecting the building structure.
